Posture:
Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine. Bring the hands up and
tuck the elbows in by the ribcage. Keep the Jupiter (forefinger)
and the Saturn (middle) finger together, and fold the thumb over
the ring and pinky fingers.
Motion and mantra:
With the palms of the hands facing out and away from your body,
chant Har and rotate the hands 90 degrees, bringing the
fingers facing each other. Chant Har and turn the hands
away from the body again. Keep repeating this motion in a steady
rhythm, chanting, Har, har, har, har.
Eyes:
The eyes are 9/10th closed and focused on the tip of the nose.
Time:
Continue in a steady rhythm for 11 minutes.
To
end:
Inhale deeply, hold tight, and squeeze yourself. Shrink to bring
yourself into the capacity of being zero (shuniya) under all
circumstances. Imagine you are just a central line and the two
sides of your body have squeezed into the central line for the
length and breadth of the spine only. Exhale. Inhale deeply
again, exhale. Inhale deep again, hold tight and reduce the body
by “self-hypnosis” to the strength of the length and only the
breadth of the spine. Exhale. Inhale deeply again, hold tight.
Self-hypnosis is a very powerful thing. Exhale. Inhale deeply
and release the breath. Inhale deeply and release. Finally,
inhale deeply to full strength and hold tight as if you are
just one stick, two and one-half inches wide, and the length of
your spine. Exhale and relax.

Mantra: Har Har Har Har
(The ‘a’ in Har is as the ‘u’ in ‘up,’ and the ‘r’
is rolled so it almost sounds like a ‘d.’)
